~Frequently Asked Questions~
What else is there to do before or after a show?
I'm glad you asked! Collingswood's business district, located on Haddon Ave and about 1/2 a mile from our venue, is full of restaurants, coffee shops, boutique stores, and small town charm.
Why does Brown Paper Tickets handle your ticketing?
It's a question of customer service. BPT offers a toll free phone number to order tickets by phone, and they allow you to pay for tickets by credit card or check, all from the comfort of wherever you happen to be. They are an excellent service, easy to use, and have the absolute lowest fees around. Which means FMP doesn't have to pass the gougings on to you, the audience member.
Under what circumstance will you cancel a performance?
There are two circumstances under which a performance would be cancelled: Emergency on the part of the company, or a weather emergency. A performance will only be cancelled for weather if a state of emergency is in effect in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Any performance cancellations will be posted on Fractured Mirror's website and the event's ticketing website, and any ticket holders who provide phone numbers or e-mail addresses will be notified directly.
In the event a performance is cancelled for any reason (weather or otherwise), a new date and time will be arranged. Ticket holders may come on that date or exchange their tickets for another performance date, if one is available. If a ticket holder cannot come on that date, and cannot exchange tickets for another date, a refund will be offered if the ticket holder notifies Fractured Mirror Productions at least 24 hours prior to the rescheduled show time.
Most theater companies are non-profit organizations. Why aren't you?
Non-profit organizations requrie a board of at least 3 people. And right now, although i continually use the royal "we" throughout this site, this company is a one-man band. Rather, a one-woman band. Fractured Mirror Productions is still starting out, and when it develops further and i am able to bring more people on board, we will apply for 501c3 status.
Can I help you out?
Absolutely! We are always looking for volunteers to help with ushering, "front of house" duties, costumes, props, fundraising, and promotions. Whether you'd like to assist us physically or financially, just send a brief e-mail to info@fracturedmirrorproductions.com telling us about yourself and what you'd like to do to help out!
